2018 Basket Press Cabernet Sauvignon

The Rutherglen region produces Cabernet Sauvignon with rich full-bodied structure with great length of flavour. Fruit for this wine comes from old estate grown vines, which are up to 65 years old. After fermentation, the grapes were delicately pressed using our traditional basket press, which preserves fruit integrity and excludes harsh tannins from entering the wine.

WINEMAKERS' NOTES

Medium crimson in colour with red hues, there are lifted, fresh leafy characters with ripe red berry fruits and subtle cedar notes. There is a well-structured palate showing excellent varietal fruit characters of blackberry and blackcurrant finishing with well integrated tannins.
